Reverend Jason V. Kulczynski
Father Jason Kulczynski was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 26, 1961 where he lived until the completion of 6th Grade at Saint Stanislaus KostkaCatholic Church in Greenpoint. He next lived for some time in New Jersey, and moved to Pennsylvania in 1976 where he was a member of St. Jude Parish in Chalfont, Pennsylvania.
Discerning a Vocation, he entered the Pauline Fathers Monastery after High School, the Order of Saint Paul the First Hermit. He completed Postulancy and Novitiate at the Monastery located at the National Shrine of our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Following one year of Seminary study, Father joined the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and continued his studies at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia.
Father Kulczynski was ordained on May 20, 1989, and was assigned to St. Bede the Venerable Parish in Holland, Pennsylvania as Parochial Vicar.
In the year 2000 he was appointed School Minister (Chaplain) of Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School, a Catholic Girls High School in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania and was assigned to reside at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Lansdowne. He was next appointed the Chaplain of Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast High School when these two schools joined together in a co-institutional model.
In 2010 he was appointed Chaplain of Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School until July 2, 2012, continuing to live at Saint Philomena Church.
On September 12, 2012, Father was appointed Parochial Administrator of Saint Philomena Church in Lansdowne while remaining Chaplain at the High School.
In November of 2011, during a Conference held at the parish titled, “It’s Time to Meet Saint Philomena” Father Kulczynski was appointed Spiritual Director of the Universal Archconfraternity of Saint Philomena for Pennsylvania, USA, by Monsignor Giovanni Braschi who was present at the Conference.
February 2, 2012 marked the founding of the Priest Chaplains of the Archconfraternity of Saint Philomena by Father Kulczynski. It is an association of Priests who have shown their devotion to St. Philomena by promoting her cause and her intercession.
On February 12, 2012, Father Kulczynski was appointed the National Director of the Archconfraternity of Saint Philomena for the United States by Monsignor Braschi.
In September of 2012, Father Kulczynski moved to Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which thereby became the location of the United States Center of the Archconfraternity, where he continues his work as National Director working closely with Monsignor Braschi, Marie Burns the worldwide director of the Archconfraternity and Lisa Bowen, the Regional Director for Delaware and Pennsylvania.
On May 17, 2013, after being a guest on various radio programs, Father Kulczynski became the host of a new radio show called Aim High, on Radio Maria.
